Here’s an EASY method for including them in your diet every day.
Whenever my hair, skin and nails are beginning to lack lustre, it inevitably coincides with a stretch of time when I haven’t been looking after my diet. And along with that, lack of sleep and less exercise normally tag along for the unhealthy ride! Oops!
Over the past few years, I’ve come to notice the beauty warning signs of a vitamin-depleted diet – brittle hair, breakouts, tired-looking skin. When I’m affected by this trio of grossness I know it’s time to step up my diet game and include skin saving foods into every meal.
I can’t claim to be professionally qualified (I wish!) in nutrition but I do know enough through internet-trawling/magazine hoarding, that the foods I like to include in my diet, which I know make a difference to my skin, are all foods rich in good fats, oils and protein.
Because other people are qualified, here are three great links to look into too:

I know that prioritising preparing fresh meals can be tough, especially as reaching for pasta, or bread feels like a quick solution to a hungry tummy.
But. Big but . . .
. . . the investment in time and money, preparing fresh, yummy, nutritious food is SO worth it!
When you eat well, you have more energy, you look better, you’re happier, you sleep better, life is BETTER. Trust.
Here is a great shopping list which will help you save money, eat better and waste less. WIN.
I’d love to know of any foods you eat which you feel really make a difference to your skin? Or any tip you have for keeping your healthy food reserves stocked up?
FRIYAY guys! Have a great start to your weekend! Let me know if you try any yummy, healthy food recipes!
Love, Monica x
NB: for absolute clarity I don’t eat all of these foods every day – but at least a couple of my top list make it in to my diet every single day. Yum!
