Much though I love shopping on the high st, there is something incomparably exciting about unearthing a treasure in a vintage, thrift or charity shop – this leopard print jumper (charity shop circa 2010) is no exception.
When I first started buying my own clothes – around aged sixteen (hello part-time job ????????!) – I bought a large portion of my wardrobe second-hand – it was the best way to shape a wardrobe I liked on a budget.
And since then, my love of charity shops and vintage has never tired.
This leopard print cardigan was another one of the items I rediscovered when going through the KonMari tidying process.
I know I’ve mentioned the KonMari method a million times by now . . . but seriously . . . the stuff you FIND when sorting your life using the method, and the stuff you get rid of . . . it feels amazing! If you are on the hunt for leopard print pieces yourself, which I totally feel everyone should always subconsciously be, I’ve rounded up some great options available below >
SHOP LEOPARD PRINT PIECES
Since sorting my clothes using the KonMari method there has been around a month’s hiatus for any more sorting, but I’m back on track with some other categories including beauty products, magazines and jewellery this week. I actually shared my beauty sort-through live yesterday on Periscope, I broadcast a Tuesday ‘Scope every week so find me ‘MonicaBeatrice’ if you want to tune in.
Ella and I shot these snaps a little over a week ago, hopefully my goofy tourist stances and smile (in most cases) hide the fact that I was actually suffering from a horrible cold at the time – sometimes you have to just push through a ‘feeling rough day’ and keep to your commitments. I totally employed these tips of ‘dressing better than you feel‘ and am so pleased I pushed through – I ended up having such a great day and saw people who I’ve been wanting to see for months.
What do you guys do to get the momentum going on days when you are feeling under the weather? Are you as big a fan of vintage and second hand as I am?
Love, Monica x
