Well, smoothie bowls and latte art.
Aesthetically pleasing, delicious and healthy, smoothie bowls are my new go-to breakfast obsession and I’m sharing with you my very favourite green smoothie bowl recipe below!
First Things First – “What is a smoothie bowl?”
I hear you!
Simply put, it’s a smoothie put into a bowl (yehuh, it’s a pretty simple explanation!) and finished with your choice of toppings which can involve any number of delicious things!
At first, I totally didn’t get it. Why would you eat instead of drink a smoothie?
As with all great obsessions, it only took a little nudge from a friend in the know (OK a blogger I really like!) to convince me that smoothie bowls were worth looking into and so I duly did!
Et voilá, since following Camille Style’s #CSCleanse, I’m now a convert!
Smoothie Bowls: Easy On The Eye – Even Easier To Make!
Despite their fancy pants aesthetic, a delicious smoothie bowl is one of the easiest breakfasts you could hope to whip up.
I’ve been using this spinach and banana smoothie bowl recipe from Camille Styles and can’t fault it!
More good news? You can switch in and out ingredients and toppings as to your personal tastes.
A few berries into the smoothie mixture? Great! A smattering of banana atop your bowl? Yum!

My favourite toppings right now are: berries, almonds, desiccated coconut and a drizzle of honey.
With the warmer months stretching ahead of us, this scrummy refreshing breakfast is just what the doctor ordered.
Bonus! Despite it being really filling, I never feel heavy or weighed down by it after – only energised and super summery!
