Berry hues how I love you so! In the straddling weeks of early Autumn - not quite cold enough for full coats (we resist!) - not nearly warm enough for sandals and paper-thin cotton - there is a lot to be said for a happy medium. Antioxidant colours can serve us well in bridging said gap. Strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, plum... - they all look awesome with the remnants of a tan as well as the first toe-dips into knitwear and boots. Although it may seem like a instinctive faux pas, I love cherry red and burgundy together - there is a depth to the tones which compliments one another and I often think that a burgundy lip can look classier with a red dress than a matchy matchy tone and vice versa. Equally the two hues can be worn together as seen in today's post and on gorgeous fellow blogger and photog Candice Lake here.
Breton stripes are somewhat of a sartorial saviour, I always reach for mine on days when I want an easy answer - be that dressed down or up.
What are you feelings on berry hues? Are you wearing them this season?
What are your tips for Autumn transitioning?
Have a super day all!
