What I Wore: LFW Day 2! Paige Denim and StylistPick Mega Heels!
Dear Elgin Avenue readers,
A very Happy Thursday morning to you all!
I am never normally up in time to write a blog post before I head off to work, however this morning I woke up earlier than average with a tweet from Isabelle of Isabelle’s Travel Guide telling me my #BeachThursday ‘Beach Babes and Beauty’ guest post has gone live – how exciting!
You can read my beachy feature over on Isabelle’s blog here.
Short and sweet is the essence of the day as I do have to get off to work rather soon now…hmm definitely hair in a topknot kind of day!
For those of you that follow me on Twitter you may already have seen a sneaky preview of my outfit from Day 2 of Fashion Week and these ahhmazing Paige denim ‘Verdugo’ jeans exclusive to Selfridges.
When I first received the images of these white and printed babies my heart did a little dance and I knew that I just had to get them in to an outfit! The day was a little chilly so I layered up on navy pieces, including a waistcoat and fab vintage oversized Cerruti blazer.
Jeans: borrowed from Paige Denim at Selfridges, buy here, Blazer and Waistcoat: Vintage, Shoes: c/o Stylist Pick, Cluch: borrowed Capulet London, Grey Trilby: Christies, Necklace: Forever 21, Watch: Swatch, Bangled: Bought in Menorca, Ring: H&M, Jumper: Petit Bateau.
I was also lucky enough to get a makeup touch-up from the Nicky at BECCA London, at TheApartment. I have been wanting to try out a plum lip for ages, so Nicky mixed an exact shade to match the go-faster stripes on my Paige jeans – and I do believe she got it bang on!
The first pair of shoes I wore on this day actually broke, so I was over the moon when I saw the StylistPick team at TheApartment dolling out gorgeous shoes to us lucky bloggers, this pair is from Rachel Bilson’s new range for the company and I absolutely L-O-V-E them! The price point on them is crazy too – only £50 for real suede! You can get your hands on a pair here!
Righto guys, must dash – do not wish to clock in to work late!
