RABEANCO - Total Bag Love!! x

Dear Elgin Avenue readers,

A very Happy Monday evening to you all, 

For those of you who have been perusing through my most recent posts you will have seen that I have recently acquired (cough cough borrowed!) a gorgeous collection of INCREDIBLE handbags and I think it is about time that I do RABEANCO their do's and introduce you, my lovely readers, to this oh-so-lust-worthy brand!!

Having opened their very first UK store in October 2011, right in the heart of Covent Garden, RABEANCO has been courting a World-wide audience of  
                       serious fashionistas since the 1980's.

Priding themselves on the finest quality Italian leather, I can confirm that the hides are some of the most buttery-soft I have ever touched, especially within a reasonable price bracket. RABEANCO bags begin at a price point of £199 which whilst being no small sum of money is a very decent price for such a premium product!

From bucket, to clutch, to satchels to totes - having being sent through the whole look book I found my self liking pretty much everything - a complete rarity as I am rather particular when it comes to my bags!! 

I could keep going with my ode to RABEANCO but instead I will leave you with a product selection that will do the talking for me ; )!

THE ENVELOPE CLUTCH

I am a BIG fan of the day clutch and this held pretty much everything I needed whilst being a great alternative to a traditional shoulder bag - although you could use the hidden chain strap if it should take your fancy! The stoney colour was neutral enough to wear with a lot of different ensembles and the neon chain detailing added an unexpected fash twist.

THE FUCHSIA TOTE

It was a tough call choosing a favourite amongst the bags I borrowed however I would have to say that this is it! I am so in L-O-V-E with the colour, its understated gold detailing and the perfectly proportioned, yet roomy, tote shape. Good quality zips are consistent throughout the RABEANCO collection but I particularly liked this one - it added a little soft bling!

THE NUDE BUCKET BAG

This is one helluva bag! The nude colour screams luxury whilst one touch of the air-light leather will have you melting in to bag heaven!! Definitely needs to be dealt with delicately, but if you are looking for serious designer style I have seen rare few non-designer versions this good!

THE SATCHEL

My apologies for the slightly grainy photo of this red beauty - it does not really do it justice! RABEANCO kindly sent me through this gorgeous mini satchel in both red and a navy blue. The primary colours enhance the school-type vibe which I throughly enjoyed, perfect for jaunts about town and so practical to wear across body. So often satchels can look quite tough - I liked that this one combined a soft leather with this shape.

THE BOWLING BAG

This fab bowling bag was a close contender for my favourite RABEANCO bag. Another great zip detailing which stretched the whole length of the bags exterior. This was a more robust hide than the other bags which was quite comforting (less worrying when pottering about!) - it felt like a toughy which will get better with age! The colour is muted but unusual striking a good balance between practicality and style. A BIG thumbs up!

And so you have it! My complete lust for RABEANCO now shared with you my lovely readers, if like me you tend to invest in a good bag once or twice a year then give thought to this great brand. It's rather under the radar name at the moment is serving well in terms of price point, once the word is out you may have trouble tracking one down!!

Right I am taking myself to bed now, up bright and early in the morn!
