Look Of The Day: Double DDenim and Missing Marni!! x
Dear Elgin Avenue readers,
A very Happy Thursday to you all,
As I mentioned yesterday the demands of Fash Pack school are seriously cranking up in a bid to finish our project for next Friday, when attending School I like to feel comfortable yet make a bit of an effort - I am of the thinking that if you dress with poise your thoughts should align themselves accordingly (well that's the theory ; )!), in light of this here is another look for another "day in the office" consisting of some fab new booties I discovered in Zara yesterday in one of those incredulous moments where you find that the object of your desires - i.e. these tan boots! - are in fact half price! Oh swoon!
Denim Shirt: Vintage find in Menorca, Faux Fur Collar: Taken from my John Lewis Collection Coat which you can see in this outfit, Jeans: Topshop, Bag: RABEANCO (borrowed), Silk Scarf (tied around bag) Vintage, Booties: Zara, Hedgehog Socks: Not entirely sure...!

Another GORGEOUS RABEANCO bag in a neutral colour!! So so dreamy!! Here you get a better peep at my hedgehog socksies too ; )!
Evidently my shopping luck did not last forever as I turned over the lucky shopping coin to those fortunate devils that got their hands on the Marni for H&M collaboration!! Having logged in at 9a.m. as per H&M's instructions, a one hour delay instigated by the online store meant that I infact missed out on the pieces entirely!! : (!! A happy bunny I was not!! Had I had my Marni wishes fulfilled I would have bought the following...
Sequinned Collar £19.99 Marni for H&M
Printed T £19.99 Marni for H&M
Sigh no Marni for me but I do have a lovely dinner planned with some of my girlfriends, I shall expel my woes to them ; )!
Have a super evening all!
Love, as always,

I am quite the fan of turquoise socks with tan shoes too - mine don't have hedgehogs though :(
ReplyDeleteCommiserations on the MarniMissOut but I must confess it wasn't a collab I would have been lining up for. The collar looks cute though, fingers crossed H&M are reading!x
Hey Wendy! Yeah the tan/turquoise combo is a winner : )!
ReplyDeleteAhh hun thanks for the commiserations - I actually managed to nab one of the T's via an amazing girlfriend so I got there in the end! I have decided to dub the Marni collection "Marni-mite" as it seems to be dividing people down the middle - you either love it or you hate it! I'm sitting in the love corner but I'm half Italian so it plays to my sensibilities ; )!
Just need to track down that collar now...!!
